ITINERARY BY DAY
Day 1: Hanoi – Transfer to Halong Bay
This morning drive to the coastal town of Halong, about four hours from Hanoi. Along the way make a quick stop at the Sao Dao Centre an amazing centre for the disabled, where all types of art and handicrafts are made. On arrival in Halong, board a small tender boat that will ferry you across to your waiting junk boat. Enjoy lunch onboard as you cruise out into the bay, stopping to anchor for an afternoon of activities. Take a swim, go kayaking or just relax on the deck and admire the view. End the day on deck with a drink in hand to watch the sunset over the bay followed by a freshly prepared seafood dinner served under the stars, before retiring to your cabin for the night.
Day 2: Overnight on Luxury Halong Bay cruise
Wake up to the beauty of the bay and over breakfast cruise to secluded spots for a swim and to explore by kayak. The junk will act as a backup vessel following you at all times. After lunch and a brief harbour stop, the afternoon is spent exploring caves. As the sun begins to set, relax on deck with a drink followed by another al fresco dinner.
Day 3: Transfer to Hanoi
Spend your last morning soaking up the scenery before heading back to the harbour and returning to Hanoi in the mid afternoon.
