TOUR PROGRAM

DAY 1: Hanoi – Van Long wetland

Pick-up guests at Noi Bai airport
Depart to Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve (90kms)
Check-in at hotel, take a rest
Activities: visit Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, take boat to see Delacour’s Langur (Trachypithecus delacouri)which is listed in Red List of Threatened Species by IUCN, go around to see birds by foot, to feel the silence of a wetland area and normal life of local people

Back to hotel, free at leisure

DAY 2: Cuc Phuong national park

Breakfast at hotel
9:00 – 11:00: visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Lê Đại Hành King’s temple, Đinh Tiên Hoàng’s temple and tomb (17kms from Van Long Wetland)
11:00: start to move to Cuc Phuong National Park (30kms from Hoa Lu ancient capital)
11:45: check-in hotel and have lunch
14:00: visit Center of saving Vietnam’s wildlife at Cuc Phuong National Park, where is saving Carnivores, especially pangolin, understanding the special structure of Cuc Phuong
Afternoon: hiking, biking, meditation,…in Cuc Phuong forest or near the hotel
Dinner at hotel, Free at leisure

DAY 3: Pu Luong nature reserve

Breakfast at hotel
9:00: leave Cuc Phuong forest for Fish Stream and Dang tree cave in Cam Thuy. Fish comes out from caves around to find food, there is Dang limestone cave next to Fish stream.
13:00: luncheon at Fish Stream
14:00: start to go to Pu Luong Nature Preserve, Bá Thước province
16:00: check-in Pu Luong Retreat, activities: trekking, hiking, meditation, biking…
Dinner, free at leisure

DAY 4: Pu Luong nature reserve

Breakfast at hotel
9:00: go to Hieu waterfall (22kms from Pu Luong retreat), on the way, visit a market of Thai ethnicity (just open on Thursday and Sunday). Hieu village is located on the top of a hill, you can see many field terraces, stilt houses, …
11:30: lunch at Hieu waterfall
12:00: check-in Ban Hieu Garden Lodge or some homestays around
Afternoon: trekking, hiking, bathing at waterfall, some special activities of local people
Dinner at homestay

DAY 5: Cao Phong town – Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel
9:00: leave for Hanoi. On the way, visit Bong Lai temple, and system of caves in Dragon Head Mountain, Thanh Loan organic orange shop. Luncheon at Cao Phong town
14:30: check-in at hotel in Hanoi
